Our mission at AEP Span is to partner with the construction community to develop inspired solutions that enhance communities across the Western US.
At AEP Span, we are passionate about partnering with the architect-engineer-contractor-owner (AEC) community to deliver beautiful, efficient, and resilient structures with metal. We are proud of the outstanding metal projects we help deliver in partnership with our customers and their significance within the broader community. AEP Span’s high-performance metal roofing and siding feature across various building segments, including educational, multifamily, healthcare, mixed-use, recreational, civic, and other critical structures throughout the Western US.
For over 50 years, AEP Span has proudly manufactured metal roofing and siding products for the construction industry. Our current business began manufacturing operations as ASC Pacific at our Tacoma facility in 1971. The business continued to expand over the next several decades, including with the acquisition of the Dallas-based AEP Span Inc. in the early 2000s. Today, AEP Span manufactures from two locations: West Sacramento, California, and Tacoma, Washington. AEP Span is a division of ASC Profiles LLC, a leading West Coast metal roofing, siding, and structural steel decking manufacturer that operates several facilities throughout the western US. Relay For Life Sacramento
Steel Smoking – Big Smoke in Little Kalama
Our BBQ team ‘Steel Smokin’ competed in the Big Smoke in Little Kalama BBQ competition! It was lots of fun and happy we could be a local sponsor of the event. In 2022 we placed 13th out of 20. The categories competed in were chicken, brisket, and ribs. Here’s to a great show in 2023!
Habitat for Humanity
Supporting affordable and sustainable housing in our community, we are proud to contribute metal roofing and siding materials to Habitat for Humanity. In addition to the metal donations, employees volunteer their time to assist with new build projects within the community.
Community House
On a monthly basis, employees across the organization come together to purchase the food, prepare and then serve dinner to those most in need in the community. We are proud to celebrate our milestone of over 20 years of providing support.
Emergency Support Shelter
Throughout the year, we donate much needed supplies and cash donations to various emergency support shelters. These shelters provide free services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse with the mission goal of ending the violence.
Light The Night | Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Thanks to the generosity of employees, we are able to raise thousands of dollars each year for LLS. We support their mission to raise money to fund cancer cures and provide support to people currently battling cancer.
Holiday Giving Tree
Annually, employees of the organization come together to provide for those less fortunate within our communities. Through this yearly program, we are able to provide children with gifts and necessities as well as food for the holidays.
Backpack Buddies Drive
Each year, we support local schools with our Backpack Buddies Drive. With the generous donations from employees, we are able to provide a variety of school essentials, nutritional snacks and basic necessities to children most in need.
