Nestled in the lush greenery of Seattle, the Villa Academy Treehouse is a captivating addition to the Villa Academy campus, designed by Lisa McNelis of McNelis Architects. This unique structure, intended for entertainment and leisure, exemplifies the seamless integration of architecture with its natural surroundings.

The exterior of the Treehouse is a standout feature, clad in AEP Span’s Select Seam® Wide Batten metal panels in Cool Dark Bronze. These panels not only provide a durable and weather-resistant façade but also contribute to the building’s sleek and modern aesthetic. The Cool Dark Bronze finish blends harmoniously with the forested environment, creating a visually striking contrast against the verdant backdrop.

The metal panels were expertly installed by Str8 Sheet Fabrications, ensuring precision and quality in every detail. The wide batten design of the Select Seam® panels adds a sense of depth and texture to the Treehouse’s exterior, enhancing its architectural appeal. The reflective quality of the Cool Dark Bronze finish captures the changing light throughout the day, bringing the building to life as it interacts with its natural surroundings.

The Treehouse’s design emphasizes a strong connection to nature, with expansive windows that offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding trees and landscape. The thoughtful use of AEP Span metal panels ensures the structure is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, providing excellent protection against the elements while maintaining a contemporary look.

The Villa Academy Treehouse serves as a versatile space for a variety of activities, from educational programs to leisure and recreation. Its design not only reflects the innovative use of modern materials but also showcases a commitment to creating harmonious and inspiring environments for students and visitors alike.
